Every presta tube has a schrader valve adapter built in. The next time your presta equipped ride has a flat tire and you don't have the right pump on hand, try it out. Grind the cap on the ground if you don't have a knife.

lol i did the same with some surgical tubing and a syringe plastic top to force some tubeless sealant into my road bike tubes that don't have removable cores

Of course, the first thing I chuck is the silly little lock ring and the silly plastic cap. Yes, even on a brand new tube, I take em off and chuck em in the bin when I take the tube out the box to go in my tubby bag. But my valve adapter stays permanently screwed onto the rear wheel valve.
