Oh last comment....

Big up to the monster organizer, and Stillwater sport. This is an extremely well organized event....tough, but every thing runs like soap. Awesome goodie bag, awesome medal, awesome trail, awesome chill zone.

Take a bow

Amen to that!

Concrete road past down after the boat club. Shame, he was badly injured.

That happened probably 30 seconds before we got there and the dude was out cold.

We tended him best we could until a lady doctor came past and we sent a rider on to the finish to call the medics. A Lonmin doctor also came and helped out just before the medics arrived. We were probably there for an hour or so. Hopefully he heals up!

well where to start.. what I did ride was awesome.. I followed all the advise amd took it easy to the top of the monster. . Unfortunately I fell coming down.. to all those thay stop to help thanks so much, not sure who they were.. but thanks.. we used the arm warmers to stop the bleeding.

I did try and continue but the medics found me and pulled men out of tue race. So off I went to the hospital to stich up amd remove stone out of the gashes on my arm.

I will def be back next yr.

Also if anyone found a bryton rider 35.. it's mine.

Hubby also got a side wall cut and despite attempts to fix it he caught a ride back with me in the medic bakkie.

Hectic......all strongs and heal up quickly.

I was with you guys. I was rolling on the Momsen with the etto lid.

I was the dude with the etto lid rolling on the Momsen. I went to fetch the ambulance from the tar road.

Saw that pool of blood on the way, looked woes. Hope the dude heals up well! My hands are still trying to grip my bars, the downhills were so cool! Totally worth the sufferfest!

P.s. Well done guys and lady guys!

Awesome race. 82km was really not that tough...enjoyed the technical rocky bits and monster climb

That should have been called the Brutal.

It was a sufferfest from start to finish.

Good to see some of the boys at the finish.
