Worst Cycling Purchase

Specialized Sport MTB shoes - super comfy, looks good, supposedly great brand... the rubber on the soles break off like chunks of mature cheddar, and after getting a replacement pair - the one velcro strap's wire loop - cut through the strap in 2 rides (and was not overly tight)

And any second bike that's the same type of bike as your primary bike; as in: Oh I think I'll buy this as a "second bike" and take turns riding them, maybe swop the wheels over now and then.  Never happens.  Been there, done that, spent loads of money, rode it once.

2 pairs of first ascent bibs. Would rather line a speedo with sandpaper.

Defs... Also bought 2 First Ascent bibs... 1st one was the CPR one (padding is crap, which i now use for my spinning classes) and 2nd one was the Pro Elite with the gel padding... Stitching on the seam above crotch cam loose, took it back and replaced it and NOW... stitching on the seam on the back of the bib came loose. Will definitely not buy any First Ascent bib again.

I need a better quality bib...

Probably the stupid Marsh Guard that I bought. Searched myself silly to find it, eventually got one online, delivered to my door for 280 odd rand and because I have a DT Swiss front shock it fits frikking terribly and looks even worse.

Essentially 280 rand for a shaped piece of plastic and 4 cable ties, really happy with that !!!

Specialized Evade Helmet.... thought it would be cool to have an aero helmet, then I put it on and looked in the mirror, took it off, put it in my bike room, its still there.

They look better with sunglasses.  Try that.

All my cheap bibs! Could have had another 2 assos bibs for the same money.

School fees... don't even wear my others since taking advantage of the cyclelab special.

USN Epic Pro - worst purchase ever and it taste k@k

But It works like a bomb!!!!, Got me through 2 Sani2C's  and using it for TransDrak this year.

The Taste does get better... Also read the tub, you're supposed to have one sip every 10-12 minutes, not gulp it down.

After using EpicPro for a month you cannot drink sugar drinks like Enagade, there TOOOOO sweet.

Any fox fork.

Their service intervals are so short and cost and arm and a leg.

their shocks can't be beat tho

DIY ;) I haven't serviced a Fox fork before, but the Rockshox ones are fairly easy, although it can get messy.
