Because it effectively turns the bank into a court. People get shafted every day, but its not for the bank to be the arbiter of what's fair or right. You hit the eft button, you take the hit - the exception to this is when you do an online transaction with a card, where the bank will indeed reverse where the if the does not deliver.

As an aside, why this guy would come and reply with assurances, knowing he was not gonna deliver is beyond me. So, maybe he still intends to be honourable?

Ah... Cool thanks for the info!

lets wait for the feedback. I detest "iffy" sellers and communication is piss poor.

It should not happen like this. Not saying this bloke is an "iffy" seller but he should communicate regardless of how busy he is. Honour is paramount!

I am pi.....ed off with some of the poor transactions I read about.

Yoh ...hubbers on the warpath....hehehehee...enjoy the weekend guys ... :)

The post went from normal conversation to utter stress, damn guys lets hope this one is sorted out

Lets hope is correct - the stress continues, go onto fast way couriers website - type in the courier number sent to me as the photo posted 1803389 and it doesn't exist. Website says no such tracking number.

Sent Shaun a pm and will contact him further in the morning - hopefully another honest mistake…

So am I understanding this right, hubbers buy from this guy and even before the money is confirmed has having arrived in his bank account, you are hounding him as a fraud because he has not sent anything?

Personally until I have seen the money in my bank account only then will I send.

As for communication, he has had to defend himself here on more than one occasion, had emailed and spoken to the people concerned and had kept them best informed whilst still trying to do his day job.

Geez some people.....

Yeah sorry but this guy is taking you for a massive ride. Your money's gone. God knows why he even bothered commenting on the hub other than to buy some time lest the cops actually did something.

The language and spelling in the posts, dodgy photos, phone numbers and phony waybills.

If it looks like a duck...

It normally takes up to 12 hours before a tracking number is loaded on to the couriers site.

In all honesty. Fastway is very ***. I had goods shipped to me. Goods arrived before they even loaded it on the website

That photo of a "wable" is an invoice from fast way for their bags and labels not a waybill.

Sketchy that a guy this far up the creek and trying to be honest and with the hubber mob after him would screw that one up this late in the game?

And do the whole run around thing no answering pm's etc after not responding to the buyers earlier in the day...

Only stop being cautious when the stuff is in your hands, it appears no one else on thehub can verify the seller is a legit oke/seller?

I prefer to believe this will turn out OK. Doesn't add up for a fraud to even try to convince us after the money has been transferred already. I have chosen to be naive before and have sent money to Hubbers without checking anything. Always worked out. Most people are actually good. Don't spoil a weekend believing in the opposite.

post-42483-0-98656400-1395350071_thumb.jpgHi,

We use Fastway as our courier company. Fastway DO NOT have way bills. They operate a pre-paid satchel (like a speed service satchel) and pre-paid label system.

The labels are small peel and stick labels with a number attached that will typically begin with YA0010???????

The picture he has put on with the Fastway stamp looks like a receipt he has obtained from somewhere.

Be careful because it doesn't look legit.

Edit - Pic of label attached (which have to be used on boxes)

Hi

I have purchased many items off thehubsa before and never had reason to doubt anyone. Lately I have been seeing more and more posts regarding scammers and when I enquired about a frame posted for sale by ronsha I came across another one of his ads where hubbers had flagged his images as those used from the internet. When I tried to contact Shaun again he replied via a different cell number which triggered more alarm bells hence the reason for this thread. Shaun did however call me this afternoon just to make sure I was taking the frame and when I explained I hadn't made payment yet he just asked for my address and said he'll send the goods so long and I can make payment when I get a chance. He has sent me the waybill number and courier company's contact number. I will contact them in the morning asbi know sometimes the waybill number does not get updated for a few hours on courier websites.

Thanks for clearing everything up Shaun, I know we all tend to get sidetracked and busy but communication is key here and I'm sure u can see how and why all the doubt has come about.
