I ended up GC 464 - pretty piss poor in your eyes I am sure but I made cut off with 90 minutes plus to spare most days except for where severe mechanicals and a really bad crash spat me out to the back of the field. So I don't deserve to be there - please climb off the high horse you are attempting to sit on you ignorant, arrogant little person! I trained as hard as I could and to the best of my limited ability clearly but I finished and I have the medal and a whole lot of pride to go along with that. Insults unnecessary...He is referring to normal unfit grannies who came unprepared, not fit super grannies. Do the the back-markers want our sympathy? No, he kinda stated that they don't belong there. I think you need to go watch those back markers,sorry they shouldnt be there.If your aim is just to finish the epic in the 10 hrs every day its a very easy ride.For a race of this standars and for UCI points it has set the level too low. Oh wait a minute, I see he did say sorry, that makes everything OK.
