J∆kk∆ls Posted August 11, 2016 Share I bought a 26" cause I didn't know any better. Years later I upgraded to a better 26". Eddy Gordo
T-Bob Posted August 11, 2016 Share Errr... I'd like my frame and wheels I sold last week back please so I can put that 26'r pike on it that just turned up in the classified. Why does that always happen!?!?! IH8MUD and Hairy

madmarc Posted August 11, 2016 Share Yes - I actually just built a serious 26er full carbon hardtail 1 x 10 and all, from all the 26er parts I had laying around that no one wanted. Now I ride it every once in a while just to remind myself why I bought a 29er IH8MUD and Eddy Gordo
Honkdonk Posted August 11, 2016 Share Yes. I did then, and I do now. Needed a front tyre this week and got some very strange looks, and apart from the 'sorry bud, no stock' comments I will soldier on until my post divorce wallet will allow a nice carbon framed hard tail 29er 1 x something - when ou's make their minds up eventually.. I struggle to keep up with things. A few years ago a full XT alu bike was in the region of 30k, now it's double and then some.. God bless the ******* ANC.. *****

nox1111 Posted August 12, 2016 Share I'm on a 26 Trance Advanced carbon- still love my bike, but realize its geometry and suspension shortcomings when hitting roadgaps and the like. But then you have to ask yourself if it was designed for that in the first place... It's a damn near perfect do-it-all machine, I've done 130km+ rides on it comfortably, 2x consecutive W2W's, K2C and the weekend thereafter I'll hit Paarl DH course or an enduro (even the famed Ezelenduro - was done on the trance), only dropping the seat and put up semi respectable times...So yes; I ride 26'er and other than itching for a new bike every now and then, I really don't need one just because of the wheelsize. That itch though - I do understand.mid 130km rideand the proof GSpotUitkyk EnduroPaarl DH table Captain Fastbastard Mayhem, Bomberman, usxorf and 1 other
