Dishonesty affects us all. Based on this thread alone, most (with the exception of TheV and a few others), are up in arms about the brazen, arrogance of Cycle Psychos. Yet, alarmingly, nobody is willing to do anything about it. We feign mock indignation, but nobody is prepared to get involved.

Why don't a group of hubbers organise a ride to Broadacres Shopping Centre on Saturday morning, and pop in at the store? I don't advocate anything more than a show of solidarity for the OP. Just a "we know what you're up to, and the game is over" type visit. No harm, no foul.

Cycle Science will continue to fleece new customers daily and operate as they have in the past with absolute impunity if WE, cyclists in general and hubbers in particular, don't highlight this issue. Talk online is cheap, actions speak louder than words. C'mon fellows and fellowettes, organise a protest ride.

Edit: spelling

if you cycle up also :whistling:

Anyone know the shopping centre well? Did the fire affect the store?

I ride past there on way to cradle but I didn't even know the shop existed.

Not sure where shop is but the section that burnt down was restaurants.

Are you suggesting a few of us go and "bliksem" them?

Not at all, just organise a ride and stand outside the shop drinking coffee en-masse.

Dips, if this happened in Slaapstad I would organise the ride personally.

That fire was last year, it was in the Spur and burnt down that whole section below and whatever was above.

Its since been repaired.

So there weren't a dozen Pina/Chinarello's taken before their time in an unfortunate fire... Or a rampaging mob of carguards looting and riding off into the sunset on 6kg workhorses

Excuse me, I do enjoy a good conspiracy theory :whistling:

It is shocking how blatant the market is for fake bikes! It took two minutes on Aliexpress to find dozens of pinarellos for sale. Anywhere between 500 and 800 US dollars each. Even Specialized S works, now called V Works.
