Black n white combo

incorporate Hairy's joburg skyline on the top tube

Not pure white but a creamy white, add in black and keep the white sections on the down tubes with the color bands

how about this!!

so a little more abstract

Erp, we all know you love the JHB CBD and skyline .... how about a rendition that depicts the skyline or parts of the city that mean or move you.

Get the bike done by an artist or graphiti artist.....see where I am going with this, keep it clean and crisp though.

My suggestion.

White fork

Your baby blue for the front triangle.

Use the original white Ritchey writing on the frame make the back ground color of the Writing "box" a dark silver.

Then put your stripes around the tubes where the writing box ends.

Make the stays the same dark silver.

Great idea, however I can not imagine the black and white fork working there.

Or an idea that I don't think has been mentioned: no paint! Just a Ritchey logo somewhere, but on brushed / bare steel.

Could work.... Don't even have to paint the Branding on. Can be "etched" onto the frame, specially if the frame is given a "old" rusty look and then clearcoat the whole lot to seal it.

Similar to the Santa Cruz bus....

Scratches, dents and paint fading/chips gives it character, especially after years of abuse. I wouldn't change a thing, it's hard work to get it like that.

So I have been thinking a bit.

Baby blue from triangle, the rears seat stays in white and chain stays in black.

The "Ritchey" box in black and Ritchey in white with animated picture of Bruce Lee on the top tube, just behind the head tube.

Or is that too way out ?
