Back: schwalbe racing ralph: 1.0bar

Front: schwalbe rocket ron: 0.8bar

Did this on magalies monster's half and seamed to be fine on the rocky sections. Have been riding this pressure for the past year or so on mtn/nissan/other races.

Should I go higher for van gaalen marathon? First time doing this marathon.

I don't know how your rims don't look like the blades of my oscillating desk fan already! Holy cow.

I would suggest some additional sky in your rounds for sure!

must be something wrong with pressure gauge...the tyre will roll off the bead at those pressures

Nope - tested it with 2 different digital gauges - same reading.

Took bike to bike shop 2 weeks ago and rims are true and sound :-)

I mighty add it's ztr crest build by Ruan (spoke works).

Short story long.

Was hoping to give Routjie and Chukky grief from B batch, but kinda tragic issues prevent me from giving VG a go (when i have actually done training)

One x marathon entry being donated to someone who could not be bothered to enter. PM me and i will send a mail allowing substitution. Sure Wessel will advise if its ok.

And a ludwigs roses freebee going for sunday too cos not gonna make that either.

Go Croatia

Craig. When I have a answer I will reply. It's not just a matter of pushing a button.

Or you'll have a mail before I can reply. I know they haven't been sent yet, there probably good reason for that. :) hang tight.

Craig, mail went out at 07:20 this morning.

The winter time should be a good fit to Van Gaalen...

Come prepared VG is gonna throw it's best at you...

For sure - no mud and mild temps. Only thing I wont like is if the veld is scorched. And, yes I am ready, packing a Plan D this time just in case.

From this race I hope to get my seeding into the 30's.

Cullinan got a 36 but average still at 42. Still stuck in D.

But I'm scared of this ->|.|<- cold.

I didn't see any burnt areas on routes, but there are farmers doing some "voorbrande" in the area.
