So it was my second ever road cycle today with a road bike.

The seat was making my bum hurt for over an hour. I still feel bruised on my butt cheeks.

I am home now and my reproductive organ is strangely numb.

My question is what do I need to do to my seat post to prevent this sensation?

What can I change apart from the rail position, rail tilt and my seating position?

Saddle height, saddle setback, saddle width, and make it level! Cutout or not, saddle shape suited for your flexibility...

Lots of answers required.

I would suggest a bike fit, cyclefit sorted my saddle discomfort really well!

There are a number of things you could change and there is no quick fix in my book.

So change one thing and test it out if that doesn't help try something different, repeat this process till you succeed.

or go for a bike fit.

As a starting point check your saddle height is correct (not to high).

and tilt the nose of the saddle down so that it is slightly below the rest of the saddle.

Quite a normal sensation as that strategically located vein gets squished and diminush bloodflow to ol' Spike.

Make a habit of:

Moving around in the saddle

Stand up occasionally

Also, consider a saddle with a relief zone.

A bike fit is ALWAYS a good idea if you are very enthusiastic and wants to ride lots.

Do you guys know where I can get a proper setup done without the cost of an arm and a leg? I know its important and Im not trying to be a penny pincher but Ive already spent so much on bike and accessories, my budget doesn't allow any more spend on cycling this year

Arm and a leg is not what we are worried about...

It's under 1k and is the most valuable money you'll spend on your cycling.

Beg anyone around you for 100 bucks each and get it done...

Seriously worth it.

Go for the 'sit test' at a specialized dealer and try out a saddle that's the appropriate width. This has solved all my issues - I can now feel the pressure on my sit bones only.

sorry I can't help you as you are up in Jhb, but the basic ergofit is round about R600 not sure if anyone does up there, most bike shops should also be able to help you with the basic bike setup, try one of the Cyclelabs.
