We actually gave it a little kick this weekend - it popped, banged, backfired and blew the head gasket. Lexx Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 What is a good avg to get on a super bike tyre? Ive got my second puncture on my Pirelli Diablo rear tyre,in as many days. So I'm gatvol now. I got 9800km out of it, and I have no idea if thats good or bad. So I went and bought the Michelin Pilot street Radials. Heard and read good reviews about it. Hopefully I can get good mileage out of them.

You don't ride a superbike if you are trying to be economical.My TL1000R would munch a soft tyre in less than 2000km but on a rock hard brick of a BT56 Battlax it would get close to 8000km. Lexx 1
Steven Knoetze (sk27) Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 Not sure what happened at Triumph but they split from their local distributor.The local distributor then dumped all its local stock into the market at below cost and has shafted us triumph owners by basically dropping the second value significantly.My bikes book value is R75k and was offer R48k on trade.Its a shitshow!!!

Mostly essentials (including a new OEM head gasket!) to get it finished, but also one or two bits of bling! Couldn't resist getting a nice period bell-mouth for the carb.....
