I don't like buying 2nd hand bikes or demos, but when I saw the price and the km's, I couldn't say no.

 

Congrats, had to replace a crashed bike in 2006, and was on the look-out for a second-hand one, got told by the agents about a demo bike they had, sounded good, price was right and the bike only had 94kms on. Nothing better than a "new" second hand bike!

I knew of a few that have sold for between R150-180k recently.

That is a bit much, then again crazier things have happened.......

Not all that fast, but a hairy ride. You must have your wits about you if you just yank on that throttle.

Is anybody using Spirit's  "Evolution" and " Explorer" Pants and Jackets? The price doesn't look to bad and looks like pretty decent.

Sad, but then one will have to fork out for RST or something similar.

Having tried on and seen the spirit range of helmets, I chose to stay away. Flimsy and cheap was my opinion.

My head is worth more than the saving over a decent, well known brand.

Skin grafts are also expensive..........
