MODS THREAD MERGE PSE

See the Events page for another TdS thread

Wiggins made his name gat yesterday, would expect him to come out fighting and trying to prove he deserves to be considered for the TDF, but instead he is either sulking or has *** form

Hard to match the thrilling finale of the Dauphine but there are some big names riding around Der Sweiz:

Sagan, Mollema, Spartacus and Schleck is showing his face at the front of the bunch.

Wiggo seems to have gone completely AWOL..... simply lack om motivation? If so not the best way to show character for future employer??

Was an exciting last few km's, great scenery and technical finish

Love watching a Brit sulk..... :whistling:

And Ossie Nl, yeah it was great to see Andy Schleck on the front of the peleton for most of Sunday.

From a MTB'r perspective it was awesome to see Nino in the break yesterday

Also amazing to see how he (world champion and all)....was spat out the back of the front bunch, they were motoring. That's assuming he was spat out and not just taking it easy after getting his fair share of TV coverage for the day

See one of the Schlek sisters dropped out of the race today, shame, they are not finding form anywhere. My money is on Slagter for an upset if he can maintain consistency.

Nice to see cuddles pulling a top 5 finish along side Sagan. He should race classics next year if he doesn't retire.

Pretty good attempt by him. Would've been nice to see him take another grand Tour (Giro) before his retirement.

Would do but that last giro shows he can't do 3 weeks fights against the new young mountain goats no matter how much heart and belief he has.

I would like him to do well in the suisse (he was towing the pack from 600 out until he got swamped in the last frenzy) and then give the classics a full tilt next year.

Most of the time the guys who are in the break all day eventually get spat out the back after being caught by the bunch - even world champs

After the massive excitement of Dauphine I'm battling to get into Tour of Suisse.

Ja CD was good, ok Contadors feat was a bit demoralizing imo but it was exciting

Did u watch the last 15 km of yesterdays stage?

Did u see Wiggins body language as he crossed the line?

Rui Costa riding to be the first person the win TdS 3 times in a row

Sadly I stumbled across the result before I watched it but did see some of it. I don't think Wiggo cares. Will be interesting to see if Costa can do it. I say he won't.

It looked like Wiggins was on a silent protest to me.

Agreed, disappointing for his fans who would like to see him stand up and fight / prove his worth.

The thick lower lip pose never did anyone any good other than being used as a internet meme...

A lot would agree with you, therefore for the sake of healthy argument and to try make it interesting I'll say he can win it again.

"Laurens De Vreese (Wanty- Groupe Gobert) was the first attack and he was soon joined by Eritrea's Daniel Teklehaimanot (MTN by Qhubeka)."

They have quickly opened a 3:00 lead on the peloton.
