Inside Out....

Truly one of the best movies animated or not I have ever seen. It really is such a thought provoking move.

And then the point that sadness is just as important if not more so than joy.

Yep, I got the point - didn't found it particularly thought provoking though - does that make me that little green character  ^_^

Do be honest, I am going to have to watch it again. I wasn't paying too much attention...but it seemed the usual disjointed Tarantino fare. Not a big fan of his. Got Kill Bill and that Basterds film a couple of weeks ago and didn't enjoy them at all.

Now that I've watched it again, it's less disjointed than I thought...ie, I paid attention this time.

It's actually not bad at all. Enjoyed Jackon's foil to Foxx's freeman. The film did go on a bit long, and some of the shootings were stupidly OTP, but not a bad flick at all.

I really liked Django Unchained

The only disappointing bit for me was the demise of Dr Schultz / Christoph Waltz. He was such an ice cool character, always in control only to act completely irrational & foolish at the end

Jissus, bud, has someone lost his joy and sadness? But yes, I gave you the wrong impression... Humble apologies.

Edit: Miro?

Thin ice! I'm about to lose it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ja, I wondered about that. I sorta get that he found Monsieur Candie "worth" killing, but why he would risk so much, and as you say so foolishly, on shooting him wasn't really developed in the film. He hinted earlier that he knew of him, but there wasn't enough to suggest that he would throw it all away just to kill him.

So, what have been the best horror films you've seen recently.

My pick would be The Babadook. Properly creepy film.

The last horror movie I watched was many years ago. These days, a horror film would probably end up giving me nightmares.

The last horror I saw was Hostel, I think. Just gross...

The Conjuring was very enjoyable. No stupid torture porn, almost no blood. Love the old fashioned ghost stories with atmosphere and no stupid teenagers.

The Changeling

A Tale of Two sisters

Triangle (which has more twists than a giant koeksister)

The Exorcism of Emily Rose

But still the most horrific film, and the only one I can describe as devastating, was The War Zone. No war, no blood - Most simple, intense thing I have ever seen.

(In the one there is a picture by the cubist, Monet... Very interesting)

Looking forward to some cool Ethan Hawke action with the new Mission Impossible...

Saw it this weekend, that Tom Cruise might be a wackjob when it comes to his religious choices, but he still knows how to do a good action movie

Dude dude, Babadook was properly scary and unique. The creepiest movie i have seen in yeeaarsss is The Atticus Institute.

Also minimal blood, just plain mind screwingly scary!

Not a fan of horror movies.

I'm looking forward to the new Bond.

I am enjoying the new bonds quite a bit however Casino Royale (Am i sounding like Jules Winnfield) was the best so far.
