So this whole project ended up getting a little out of hand and what started as an alternative bike to my wives to run the dog with has morphed into some thing that i am actually very proud of!!

Its almost too nice to be running the mut with!!!

A few cool bits that I'm especially happy with:

  • custom rear drop outs (these will be redesigned and made lighter at a later stage)
  • full 360 rotation of the handle bars - unlimited times
  • integrated hose
  • custom seat
  • removal of all cable guides from GT Zaskar frame
  • Custom stem riser
  • Custom spacers for rear cog - anodised
  • ALL logos removed from parts where possible

Still to be done

  • Install Flat pedals (Octane One Static Pro Flat - 2014)
  • change front ring from a 46t to a 50t
  • replace the seat post clamp
  • replace the XT cover on the brake lever to debranded black one

Drop outs produced by Rolf @ Woodstock Cycles

All consultation, paint and build by Kevin @ BMC

Design, concept and sourcing by Me

Here she is in all her glory.

Thats really impressive, love the internal cable routing! Some bike companies could learn a thing or two from your attention to detail.

Looks better than most of the "Super bikes" That are thrown together with the most expensive parts and then posted on the hub...
