If the rest of the model name choice is anything to go by then this frame has only 95mm rear travel - little disappointed to be honest... perhaps there's a 110 or 120 version in the pipeline...

Saw this in a Bicycling mail this morning, haven't seen/heard anything about it on the Hub yet... looks flippin kwaai! Nothing on Google even.

By the way "first carbon frame to be made here in sa" is a load of sh!te Aerodyne in somerset west have made many carbon frames - and actually make some for momsen 9iv heard)

Same here. I have considered lying. Pretending it costed R20K and financing it somewhere she does not notice and working the repayments in as fuel and gardening expenses. lol

 

As that is a crap plan I'll probably never own this.

I'm sure there has been tonnes of testing on that rear travel... All the reviews of the oneten (yes that's a lot more travel) are consistent in that they couldn't get it to bottom out. From what I understand, the suspension design actually allows a bit more travel that the shock provides because of how the shock is connected. This was a comment from a mechanical engineer friend when looking at the pyga suspension. I know nothing about these things....
