Why put me in a group that's much faster than what i'm capable of? Fair enough you probably talking about the groups that start further back so the "racing" factor is a lot less but I start fairly early in the race and if I was someone who hadn't done as many tours and got bumped down i'd be a bit upset and vica versa, I race hard and often to make sure I make racing tandems, Wouldn't want to get in just because i'v done it 24 times and my tandem partner 26 times. It's nowhere near the front. They go off literally in front of the charity groups. I'm sure that if you stopped cycling for 4 years and came back you would appreciate an earlier start than everyone else who has a seeding index above 100 or no seeding at all... The CTCT seeding is what they use to seed you for the CTCT and where the official seeding races can count up to 100% towards your seeding.
