I have done the argus 24 times and don't feel that entitles me to preference if I take some time off. Why put me in a group that's much faster than what i'm capable of? Fair enough you probably talking about the groups that start further back so the "racing" factor is a lot less but I start fairly early in the race and if I was someone who hadn't done as many tours and got bumped down i'd be a bit upset and vica versa, I race hard and often to make sure I make racing tandems, Wouldn't want to get in just because i'v done it 24 times and my tandem partner 26 times.

It's nowhere near the front. They go off literally in front of the charity groups. I'm sure that if you stopped cycling for 4 years and came back you would appreciate an earlier start than everyone else who has a seeding index above 100 or no seeding at all...

Hmm I see your link is the CTCT one and mine is just pedal power and on pedal power they use 3 races to get my seeding but on the CTCT they just use my 947 seeding. Now I see why so many of the guys are wondering how its working.

PPA only indicates your current seeding position for PPA races.

The CTCT seeding is what they use to seed you for the CTCT and where the official seeding races can count up to 100% towards your seeding.

My buddy had his best result at the 2015 99er race(official timing event) and it only counted 34% towards his seeding.

Your guess is as good as mine bud. I'm luckily one of the guys that's happy with my seeding.

Strangely enough, the 2015 99er counts 100% to my PPA seeding LOL

My PPA seeding shows that it uses the 2014 99er and Die Burger.  CTCT only shows the 2014 99er.  Same seeding index for both...  Hmmmmm.....

My Argus seeding index and my PPA seeding index mirror each other. Which means for all intents and purposes, I'm in "G" in the old system.

How does a G relate to CTCT?
