Just to put it in perspective a bit. Those of you that have done Kowyns Pass in Graskop.....you will have to do it 19times. It will take you roughly 13 hours. INSANE!

For the Capies, that would mean riding up to the mast on Constantiaberg about 10 times in 1 day. Yes, on your road bike, yes I know it takes the fast guys about an hour to get up there once, then ride down, then do it again. You add it up, and you'll get a minimum of 12 or more hours on the bike. In 1 big go! Eina eina eina.

Lots of respect. Btw, where were the Maties?

SUPER IMPRESSIVE Craig and Co! When I grow my pair slightly bigger I'm so gonna give this a go!

Which lap was the hardest one for you to get through and when did you stop doubting whether you would make it or not?

give it a go, we didnt do any formal training.

between 4000 and 5000m was killer, you dont really ever climb that much and then you think you half way, only to remember its 8848 so its still not half way, the last 5 laps the 5th 4th and 3rd last i found were the ones i needed to dig a bit for as boredom and everything else was kicking in. the last 2 were fun, especially the last one ending together.

its not something i suggest you do alone, there are plenty of times when you wonder what is going on or why are you doing this.

Just as I imagined! Shot for the info! I do like doing some all day rides but nothing quite in this league yet. Gonna plan to do one early next year and ramp up some non existant training that I've got into for the last 9 months... (Literally coming off no base at the moment)

How have the legs felt the past couple of days??

Respect - are they the 1st guys to complete 1 in South Africa?

George Mallory (6 time everester and record holder) is South African born if I'm not mistaking... We used to rock climb with his brother which is still in SA as far as I know.
