looks like a fanny pack on the top tube hahaha. Oh well, interesting construction though I wont deny it.

Maybe for mark 2 we can get the exhaust blowing a long stream to 5 o clock when riding the bike, so that motorists that infringe on the 1.5m's safety clearance get a screen full?

Got one of these for my wife so she can do long training rides with me at a decent pace.

After a fall while learning to ride the bike she is now too scared to ride it becuase it goes too fast !!!

Will have to try get her into training

What do you reckon will make the most noise? The 50cc engine, or the clutch/throttle cable rubbing against the front wheel?

It's all noisy - at least people dogs etc hear you comming - and the 66cc one does almost 60 kph !

There's someone in the Vale that does the conversion.

Had a chat with a guy that commutes with one, he gets 2L/100Km without pedaling, and can push it to 1L/100Km if he holds the clutch in on the negative gradients, but he said it's easier just to let the engine do all the work..

This is the same thing that was the cause of my broken collarbone a few years back. A long day of drinking entered into an evening of hooliganism. Vodka and Creme soda was flowing.

A mate of mine had his at the pub and all of a sudden it was a good idea to race around the block.

Long story short after a few pitstops to finish my drinks that had queued up, I came off at about 60km/h which was flat out...

I got highsided, landed on my elbow and broke my collarbone.

Had to explain to girlfriend why I needed my medical aid card at 8:30pm ay Bedford Gardens clinic after she had been asking where I was all day with no response

Ummm, lets not discuss that anymore.

As fun as what these are to ride, I dont have a fond memory.

Haha funny story. It hardly looks like something I'd want to ride sober.... Let alone after a few VCS!
