Therefore this sets a great example, if drunken driving just hide for 2 hours and then hand yourself over. Really sad that the courts take this so lightly. No justice anywhere in the world it seems. Bateleur1 Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 It is obvious that the victim was also involved in the plea bargain as the money is paid into a charity off her choice. What really pisses me off is should she not have settled for a plea bargain, chances of getting a harsher sentence would have been nothing in anyway. I suppose the plea bargain was the easier route for all. It sucks piles in my opinion as I am of the opinion the state should take charge but then again they can't even lock up someone properly who shot his girlfriend in the bathroom. What do we expect if something happens to a cyclist.
