Why can't Phill and Paul also commentating on the Giro. Those are 2 legends. Phil is commentating at the tour of California

'Dale Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Pozzovivo is doing well reported to have even phoned his dad from hospital bed. He is sid to not even remember what happened in crash . Great to hear he is ok.Phew!Awesome.

Those are 2 legends.To be honest, I really enjoy the Giro commentary with Carlton and Dan and at times find them to be more entertaining (particularly on dull stages where they joke and liven things up a bit) than Phil and Paul...

Great to hear he is ok.Great to hear he is well, I feared the worst when I saw the horrific scenes following the crash. That was a horrid decent (narrow roads with negative camber, cliff faces and no barriers on nearly every corner) and although we all like challenging routes, it probably shouldn't have been in a bike race.
Gen Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 To be honest, I really enjoy the Giro commentary with Carlton and Dan and at times find them to be more entertaining (particularly on dull stages where they joke and liven things up a bit) than Phil and Paul...They are also not ancient which helps and more clued uo to modern cycling.. I lagged at I think carlton in sunday when they were still speaking about something and the camera switched to podium girls walking in the street. And he promptly said "well hello" ha ha ha

Those are 2 legends.I prefer CK & DL to Phil & Paul as commentators, especially at the end when Carlton gets all worked up and you can hardly hear what he's saying, Daniel with all those L's (don't forget the 1 at the end).
