How long would my hard tail last?

So now that I've started my new job in Tokai, I'm going up the mountain once to twice a week at lunch time

Really loving it and enjoying the single track.
Its just every so now and again those big ramps/jumps looks so enticing and I keep on saying next time, next time     as I pass by them. So I'm on a Medium Momsen 29er Hard Tail and weighing about 75kgs.

Can I assume that my bike is not made for this? or am I just being overly cautious.

On Alu, just seems that the landing areas are flat which means not so smooth landing most of the time. I'm not talking about the ramps at vasbyt that has dedicated landing areas, more like those wooden ramps and such.

Depends how smooth you are. Your frame will be fine, one sideways landing and you're in for new rims though...

True, and that is a guarantee with me  .

Just do it. Skew landing means landing with the front wheel at an angle. Just keep your bars straight while you get used to it. There's nothing wrong with jumping a hardtail 29er, and you'll only get better at it if you do it...

Doesn't matter. As long as you're not going on the gap jumps, it won't hurt it.

I've got a lot less faith in a carbon HT than an alu one for some reason.....

I jump both My Hardtails all the time. no issues on the frames yet and my older on is close to 6 years old now. the  wheel a different story. as seen below.

Its a 29er, so it will last until the next wheel size fad and them mysteriously develop a hairline crack that cannot be fixed.  Wait the 650c wheel is here, you better have your frame checked by a disreputable bike shop, time for a upgrade.......

29'ers haven't been a fad for many years now, it's just another wheels size .
