Loved that Yeti... The lady at the stand was taking details of those people trying to enter. Apparently something wrong with Vodacom.

@ R3 per sms, they might actually make some money off of it!

Picked up some S7 bibshorts. That new 94.7 route is in trouble now!

The beers were good.

I went there thinking I would just look.

But then Darryl at the Shimano stand gave me an ice cold diet Castle.

Then I had to try the craft family. I loved the Pilsener most.

Wanted to buy the new XTR groupo, but took another beer instead.

They should maybe consider a system where the money spent on cycle equipment and and kit earns you beer tokens.......like a loyalty scheme......may have just bought that Karate Monkey then. Edited by BarHugger

Great coverage guys...I am heading there in a coupla hours from now and you have certainly pushed the anticipation levels to max.

I see no pics of beer though...WTF? Especially pics of fancy craft beers for pretentious c's like me ;)

I saw a tafel in one of the pics and appropriately someone with a mullet sitting next to it :P

Between the fat bikes and the craft beer the show was just a vinyl record player away from going full hipster. But I did enjoy it. A few new brands I've never been aware of so it was good to venture outside of the shelves of my LBS. That Pyga on the best bike display was quite something to behold.

Is that how you see vinyl ?

Stereotyping at it's worst.
