banna Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Kudos to the guys and girls. Hard as nails. Sadly this race is not for me. It's not the sore arse, lack of sleep etc that would get to me. But there's a boredom factor on those long never ending open stretches of road that would simply kill me.
Shebeen Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Interesting question as the race leaderboard currently stands: According to the rules - prize money (clause 5)1st place -R35k2nd place - R10k3rd place - R5k. this is the same for all 3 categories - men, women, development.Then finisher's 4th to 10th get a free entry to Munga 2016 (worth R15k this year) . Two things - John Ntuli is coming 2nd, would he get the prize money for 1st development and 2nd place overall too? - other one, 4th to 10th. if the top woman comes 6th, does she then get R35k plus a free entry?

So unless she's a development rider, I don't see her qualifying for both men's and women's money! She is sitting in 10th place currently, so the question is valid!
