Berry I was also in E, when F caught us and things got hairy, I was just thinking- "I'm getting to old for this..."

Managed to work my way to the front of the group and stay out of trouble. Enjoyed the pace at the front. Furthest back I've ever started at the 99er but rode my best time and had a good time.

Yoh when F joined us things were rof hey....Especially on the Philadelphia RD. Van schoorsdrift sorted the group out though.

After finishing, I went back to the top of vissershok to look for a friend....I think it should be renamed VISSERSWALK

Well done on your results, guys.

Spent a very nice morning cruising the Peninsula, quite a number of cyclist's on the route, all well behaved. Well almost all. Had a female cyclist swear at me when I asked her to ride in the yellow line, and not IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROADWAY. Told her if she wants to be an statistic, to carry on riding the way she does.

Whoever was pulling the B group, you are beasts. I want you all tested. :) I know I am old, and I eventually got dropped like a sack of rocks before the N7, but I have never felt so strong myself and so weak in the group. Crawled home...

Was great fun! Pity my Garmin fell off, about 5mins after we caught the A, felt we worked so hard to get there and then i turned around to get it.

Needless to say the massive effort put in meant that i waited ages for C bunch to get to me to take me home

I think you can blame @meezo for that.

Personally i was gratefull that the B bunch caught the A's. Big crash in A about 60km in, spent the next few km's trying to reel the bunch back in, when B passed us and dragged us back to A :) So Meezo if that was you pulling...Thanks!

the pace was mental, obviously as expected, once we saw how close we were to the A bunch which was probably around 35-40kms, it just gave even more life the guys pulling!

Great fun, it was somewhat overshadowed with bad luck i guess, my brother's garmin popped off in %, mine also pop off about 5mins after we caught the A bunch, and then when we got back to the car, our bike rack was stolen off the car.

Well in the elites a Marshall was standing in middle of road on turn onto N7. Needles to say its obvious how that ended. Hope the guys that went down and Marshall ok. I did not notice any roads were closed to traffic. Tough race but lots of fun.b

was a friend of mine, will keep you guys updated on that! he's phone is completed trashed after the incident, so i cant get hold of him yet

Unlucky on the Garmins popping off, and who steals a bike rack!! I saw a couple of people taking the bike racks off and locking them in the car before the start, i thought it was a bit overkill (i mean we are at a race of like minded people??) and who would steal a bike rack....obviously i was wrong,

the worse part about it, its a thule rack and it was locked onto the towbar, which makes us believe, exactly that its like minded people ie must be "cyclists" that are doing this.

not sure we can call them cyclists..

Group P was super. Rode together all the way to Philidelphia when we got caught in in serious traffic with the short route guys. Our peleton snapped like it was hit with shrapnell.

I finished with some of the remnants.

Hardest race I have done to date.
