Yip, no DSTV Acc or nothing. Im not sure about the resolutions. But my PC Screen is a 32" HD LED, and its streaming the rugby and all the other Supersport Channels perfectly, so I guess its in 720p.

And I also thought it would give me an error message because I don't have a DSTV Account, but no prob. Watch all of the Currie Cup games last year as well as the World Cup and Cricket without any Hassles...

I must try this ..

This could be a start of a bigger problem, technology wise there is no realistic way for Netflix or any other provider to block access from other regions, but stopping the payment mechanism to the provider could be a nail in the coffin.

Assuming they could go the bitcoin route, but how many of us actually have bitcoin accounts

It only really has an effect on paypal, you can still subscribe to netflix using your credit card without hassles, especially now that it is in SA.

Unotelly can also be paid for with a credit card, I have been doing so for more than a year now.

Has anyone tried Offisidestreams or NTV?

Its a paid service so no pop up etc and they pretty reliable.

Only downside is that you won't have local channels and adverts

Yes, I am a ntv subscriber. Mostly for the sport though

M-GO looks quite good...but has to be accessed from the US. It is integrated into the roku too. Allows you to watch latest stuff by buying streaming rights for a movie or series. i.e. a latest walking dead episode is $2 etc etc

might setup an account and see if it works

edit:

and to add to the BBC iplayer there is also Channel 4 on demand

On Netflix, There is a whole Kids area where they have spongebob's, all the series and all other kids stuff. My son loves it..
