Anybody else having feed problems with Mobdro? I can stream some things but no sport.

I believe that here was some police action with streaming channels in Europe recently which resulted in a few being shut down. That could be why?

Hi, what vpn or dns service would you recommend? SmartDNS, Getflix etc . I have a Apple TV and would like to expand my programmer choice. I tried the above last year on trial and they seemed to work fine but last year is a long time ago in technology.

Also a music video streaming service that I could use, my one store I have to play music videos but have been stuck with DSTV and the music is cr@p and not really PG since VH1 off the business platform.

Getflix uses DNS tricks and is not a VPN as such, although they do offer a VPN service thrown in as well. I use it many to access BBC programes.but check there list of channels for what you can access.

VPN's generally route all your traffic to a server in another country that adds overhead.

So I have premium, last month I noticed my debit order was R12.26 cheaper than usual. This month it was R10.00 cheaper than usual(so R2.26 more than last month). Anyone else noticed this? I am on price lock but can't remember when I signed that deal.

I use Getflix, been with them for about 3 years now.

They do have a local DNS server but it is slower than local connectivity but faster than a VPN.

Weaker/stronger Rand?

I don't think their monthly premium is based on the exchange rate. It(my debit order) has also never fluctuated like that and I have had dstv for about 11 years. It's just weird. I also couldn't be bothered to phone them and try explain to someone that they charged me less than normal, I am sure the other side of the phone will just go silent.

So that's a variation of about 0.00001% of a premium subscription [emoji38]

Ours was quite a bit higher this month, and we are supposed to be on price lock. Guess they have to get your discount from somewhere ;)

Now that we have uncapped fibre, DSTV probably won't be renewed once this period finishes.

My final offer...

Longer/shorter months?

Been watching the Track & Field World Champs @ Doha on the Beebs via Getflix - brilliant in all aspects, besides the near empty stadium.

Basil Fawlty even got a mention last night.

I'm one of those unlucky bug......rs that has a Google device 'bricked', due to a bug in their update!!!

Both my HOME and my HOME Mini are useless, don't work.

Of course, Goggle will replace them, but because I'm in Africa, which is a 'country' they don't support ( ), I need to get them back to the UK, where I bought them to have any chance of getting them replaced.

Anyone going to the UK soon and can carry about 1.5kg of HOME and HOME mini?????

Ha.. once I know where I am streaming all my beloved sport from I will cancel DSTV

Got sorted with a VPN [emoji48] the full Netflix content is a lot more impressive than what is available for SA viewers
