Is this thread just a thread for people looking for entries?

Doing my first multi day race this year, important question. ......What time do they serve the beer and is the food any good?

I reckon by the time you finish a stage the beer tent will be open. Just a hunch but I don't peg you as a racing snake

The food is good.

You sure cos all the reports indicate 29ers 29erd are everywhere and block the singletrack

sorry was talking about the beer free part. my eye's gloss over and my brain switches off when I see "29er".

the only way to cope with the hordes of Spaz 29er riders blocking the single track,  is to consume copious quantities of beer.

So I was forced to accept an all expenses paid entry for this race  .  I am normally a triathlete so I will borrow a MTB for this event.

Questions:-

1.)  Soft- or hard-tail?

2.)  How technical is it?

3.)  If I want to finish in the middle, how many hours per week should I be doing by the beginning of October.......

4.)  If anyone has Trainerroad please recommend a training program....

Hard tail will be absolutely fine.

It is not technically difficult at all. Lot of single track but all manicured.

I would say 5 to 7 hours a week of training would be sufficient for a mid pack finish. Based on not knowing you at all, and just being a guess.

Thx

So 4 hours would suffice as I am genetically superior to the "average" athlete :w00t:
