tombeej Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Sagan trying to claw back, but Cancellara also looking very shaky and has fallen off with 18 km to go. Valverde looking the strongest IMO.

Jay_B Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Thanks for the link Tombeej... exciting finish to the race there
tombeej Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Great win for Stybar, and a great come-back from injury for him. Fully deserved. But again, I have a lot of respect for the way Vanmarcke rides. Huge heart.
'Dale Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Stybaaaaaaaar!!What a bike rider. Those 'cross power came in handy on the final gradient. Awesome ride from Oss.Didn't expect him to feature at all. What a tense finalè with machine vanmarcke chasing
DaviM Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Love the classics! The strongest man on the day almost always wins.Valverde is getting in a serious amount of racing days, pity he didn't have the kick at the end.But well done Stybar!
tombeej Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Re. Simon Gerrans. I thought he just got off his bike due to lack of fitness, but reports are now in that he had a bad crash and fractured his elbow. This after just having recovered from his collarbone. Poor guy, tough break ('scuz the pun).
T-Bob Posted March 7, 2015 Author Posted March 7, 2015 Again a great race. Not sure what was going on with GVA after all reports he was a no show etc. Looked pretty good and in great form for a second place... again. Maybe they should shelve the second step on the podium for the next 2 months and just engrave his name on all of them! Hope he wins something soon. Jeez wish I was a betting man as out of my finals selection only Sagan and Spartacus were stinking up my choices. 1-4 were on the money.
the nerd Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Stybar's Niki Terpstra's Garmieimage.jpg Thats an impressive average...
