Nickster Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 Has anyone else received their shorts from the Cycle lab sale? I received my shorts today bundled up in the store bag and creased. I've bought Assos before and it comes very well packaged in a box. I've contacted the store who apologised and said it was part of the sale that they unpackaged everything and nothing further was said. I then asked for the accompanying box to be sent to me and am awaiting that reply Just makes me feel like their is something wrong here.

On a serious note why would they intentionally open up all the boxes and just send the shorts?Makes no sense to me...and down the line a warranty claim comes around and you need to return in "original packaging" , how do I explain that?
shaper Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 Probably all the bib shorts were on hangers in the clothing section most likely and not in the box. Would also say it saves on delivery cost to send without the box, especially if it had already been unboxed and on display in the clothing section

igg Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 During the promotion I never saw any Equipe bibs on hangers in the Fourways store. All of them were in boxes. I bought one in store and I also ordered one online. Both came in a box.

If it goes the same way as the "Cycle Lab Fourways" thread started earlier this week, you should use the bibs for about 5 months and then complain that the front and bottom parts of the bibs are dirty and look corroded. Demand a refund when they offer you a wash and lube.
