I also think Swen has had ample opportunity to come forward and make good on his misdeamenour. Whether he did it here on the forum or in a private email..it does not matter. But that would have been the honouable thing to do. I'm guessing he has been keeping tabs on whats happening here. Its poor and an admission of guilt in my books.

I am not a South African Exchange Control Regulation expert but I am sure that a South African based person / company may not charge a fellow South African in Euros for services rendered. I had a little sympathy for him when I heard about his series of accidents, but that disappeared when I found he was fit enough to send a few mails to the OP. I'm tired of 'service providers' trying to rob me around every corner, name and shame the lot of them. The EasyBike thread on this very forum is a prime example of this. Having seen them fix the problem, I'll continue to consider them as an option in future! Not this clown!

And if the Swan oke has 'elected' alternative, valid means of action, then I hope things turn out well,or at least not end up in additional hassle. Having been through a similar thing where I had paid for a report from a very limited supplier of the particular expertise, I was also given a massive runaround. So I understand the OP's frustration.

DIPSLICK Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 As said a few times above,,a simple explanation post and an eft would have cleared up the possibility of a simple " ball dropping" situation to what could be a very costly escalation ,,, me personally I would pay the EUROs even If I wasn't at fault and I would have legally destroyed the OP if he is out of line(I am on the OP side of the fence) as thing stands, until the "gent" makes an appearance but I don't see that happening
