That brings the CPA into applicability. Section 64 deals specifically with prepaid services. In a nutshell , that section stipulates that the money is still the property of the OP until Sven is entitled to make a charge against it, which he may do monthly. The kicker is that he has to be providing the service, otherwise he has to refund the money. (Disclaimer this is a very brief summary / interpretation of quite a lengthy section) The OP has remedies both under the CPA, as well the Common Law. It would actually be interesting to see what, if anything, would come of a complaint to the NCC. Last I heard they were so snowed under that they were totally sterilized - I don't know if they since have their house in order,but I would not put money on itThanks. I wonder though if Swen thought about the potential consequences when he "asked" the OP to shut down this thread. Apart from the hurt to his business brand surely the aggressiveness of the emails (as alleged by the OP) would have an influence on the ruling given by NCC/Local High Court?

Love the "woord speletjies" btw...But it is 600 euros by X number of victims!! So could be a considerable amount of moola... and it why he seems to be enjoying life at present overseas. I guess he thinks trashing his name is worth more and 600 euros per victim is what he feels he can get away with out raising alarm and what many may just write off... Of course until it has now come to the attention of the hub and hopefully social media... perhaps that is why he insisted the thread be closed first before offering to pay back the money
