Salvaged .... Up for grabs

9x3 Speed groupset

Shimano Altus shifters, RD, FD.

FSA Dyna Drive crank with BB (Left hand arm seems to have been cross threaded).

Cassette still good.

Freshish grips.

Where you based? Need some bits to get a friends bike up and running again. Is the Crank in a usable state?

Looking for Dead rockshox reverbs if anyone has some laying around

remote not needed

If you find a reverb remote that fits under the bar on the left, I have a left over bar I'm looking to swap out.

Apologies if this has been asked already, but aside from parts etc. is there a means of passing on used cycling kit?

I have a bunch, some hardly used, and would be a shame to throw away.

I believe there is a spot near northern farms, but anything cape town based?

Please let me know once you know, as I have some also and CPT also

Well, I didn't end up finding out.  I had 2 bags in my car which was broken into and stolen, so I guess salvaged nonetheless?

I do see however that PPA are collecting, below snippet from their latest newsletter

CALL FOR UNWANTED CLOTHING AND SHOES

If you have unwanted items of clothing and shoes (not cycling gear) at home, please drop it off at the PPA office, as we would like to hand it to the McGregor community. We are thanking you for your generosity in advance.

Hi ,

I'm based in Sandton / Midrand.

Do you have pics of frame ?

Perhaps, the shipment, poster to post net could be worth it.

I would give him my 26er frame ,and upgrade to the Bianchi here on Hubland but it's the brake configure that's the challenge.

Thank you for the speedy response.

Uses a quill stem, not sure if I still have a spare, would have to look. I have a crank set for it. Only other thing would be a seat post, got a clamp but no post and it's 27.2 or 27.4mm I think

Thank you for the quick response.

Awesome, looks good .

Will check the available seat post diameter.

It should be able to take the fork from his Titan.

What sort of price are we talking about here ?

I have a number of frames, parts, etc. If you can get to Clubview, then I can show you what is hanging in the BOMB garage.

Hi thank you , still working a plan .

The threaded head set may be an issue, however thank you for your generosity.

If all else fails I would still like to take you up on your offer, as wife will be in CT for rugby sevens and she could bring back frame.

I will be in touch if that's ok

Many thanks

Ian B.
