Nice easy paced run at the Dischem this morning. Ran with a friend she has not done much over Christmas, so made the most of the undulating first 10kms to gain a bit of time before the hills and paced her to the finish in 2:03hr. Enjoyed the training run and pretty ready for EL70.3 in 2 weeks (especially as did a 90 cycle yesterday) :)

Suffer fest for me today. No rhythm an no motivation. 12 minutes slower than last year too even though I been training loads. Log book run not a record book run

We all have these races. Mine was on Wednesday night at the Berg & Dal 15km. My wheels came completely off and I felt like quitting after 2kms.

Don't let it bring you down, learn from it and move on.

I joined the club but for some reason my runs don't make it onto the scoreboard... i know I'm only ticking over jogging 2 or 3 times per week but nothing nada registers on the score board?

Do you have to have a premium membership or some secret setting switch somewhere that has to be activated?

Can one only get a Championchip from the outlets on their website or is there any other store ?

I tried Cycle Lab - Fourways a couple of times but they have no stock.

I am in Roodepoort / Vanderbijl area.

I bought mine at the Sweatshop in Dunkeld.

for others you are referring to this page? None listed in the two towns you mention, but anything Alberton-ish might be a "reasonable" detour?

Thanks.....Strange.... If they are private it was unintentional and I did check last year when I first noticed it.

Will check again tonight

Regarding the training programs.   I had a shock looking forward to what happens up until two oceans time, regarding miles, but I see all of them basicly works like that.   OMTOM is just part of your training for comrades and the miles stack up like crazy all the way.

We have a 32km the Saturday and a 10km the Sunday before OMTOM.

Reckon that's probably it. My runs all get posted as private for some reason... so if I don't edit and unlock they don't go public.

Had a good Dischem, went a fair bit quicker than planned after running the first half a bit fast with a club mate (not keeping an eye on my pace), but wasn't the worst thing in the end - legs held out nicely. So lekker to not have any niggles at the moment... long may it continue

Hope you guys had a good weekend

There is a setting under Settings/Privacy. If you scroll down there is a tick box for "Make my activities private by default". I guess this is probably ticked.
