SeaBee Posted January 17, 2017 Posted January 17, 2017 It's not a contest - simply measure against yourself. Run what you require, don't get caught up in chasing somebody else's mileage stats. If it's your week to rest or taper, don't change your plans on account of anybody else's state of training. If you're still getting used to running, don't increase mileage too suddenly. Stick to your plans and requirements. Listen to your body - there's a saying I came across just after I started running: If you don't listen to your body when it whispers, you'll hear it when it screams. SwissVan Posted January 17, 2017 Posted January 17, 2017 if you're the only member of 'BikeHUB Comrades Marathon 2016' from your "planet", then you've not logged anything public on Strava since 2009 jhQué?I are lost....
SwissVan Posted January 17, 2017 Posted January 17, 2017 It seems Strava is making each of my activities as private as it downloads (from Polar flow), if I edit and un apply the private box manually then the activity is visible and appears in the club scoreboard... So the question is how to stop it making each activity private? Any ideas x is how it downloads when i upload my watch data = locked

Jackes Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 How do you guys handle sunglasses fogging up or is it a PITA you have to live with? Do the sunglasses with openings on the top of the lens against the frame make a difference to normal sunglasses? I run with my oakley bottle rockets and it becomes irritating. http://www.oakley.com/en/mens/sunglasses/sport-sunglasses/bottle-rocket-trade-/bottle-rocket-polarized/product/W0OO9164P/?categoryCode=m020310&skuCode=OO9164-05
Khronis Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 I cycle with the oakley radar ev which have vents in the lenses and they definitely help with not fogging up , just as long as you are moving. When i stop they tend to fog up a bit. Haven't used them for a run yet but im sure they would work just as good. Lexx and Hacc 2
