Thanks. Now I know of another scheme to look out for when somebody approaches me with the "Hey, I'd like to sit down and discuss a 'unique' business opportunity with you" story they like to try con people with.

bahahaha.... yeah. What a crock of shaite.

And on that bombshell, I can't really tell my mate that it's all BS. Cos he got introduced to it via his GF. Who has been, like, VERY good for him. So I'm sorta willing to just let it slide a bit. For a while

Hi Paul,

This whole thread is mindblowing. So much ranting over a supplement many people have not even tried yet?

How can you advise someone if you have never tested out the supplement?

Let's look at the facts (and no, Wikipedia is not the most factual resource online, try some medical journals maybe?)

- The Mannatech endurance supplement is 100% natural, which is a massive improvement on all the other synthetic stuff most people are putting into their bodies, which the body can't even absorb properly anyway! (Albert Szent Gyorgy, Nobel Prize winner, discovered  this: https://www.acs.org/content/acs/en/education/whatischemistry/landmarks/szentgyorgyi.html)

- Secondly the endurance product has been shown in Scientific Clinical Trials to support VO2 Max and cardio fitness (double-blind, placebo-controlled human study, more studies here).

- thirdly many Olympic athletes and professional sportsmen use it, anecdotal for sure, but if it's good enough for them...

Personally, I've had great results with the empact endurance product, going longer on training rides and experiencing quicker recovery times.

But don't believe me, try it out for yourself and at least then you'll know for sure, the company has a 90-day results guarantee, so if you not satisfied, you can just claim a refund anyway.

Or if you prefer, you can join the masses who speak from no experience of actually having used the supplement? Ignorance is bliss until you get dropped on a steep climb!

All the best either way.

HI - I am looking a a supplement called Mannatech - seems like its getting some pretty good reviews. Its not a meal replacements etc, just a supplement.

Has anyone tried it and if so what were your outcomes.

Firstly - Is Mannatech 100% natural or are the ingredients in it 100% natural? Does Mannatech grow on a tree somewhere? Or in the ground? How is it harvested? Is it Free Range?

Secondly - Many things support many other things. Does not mean we have to drink it's cool aid, right? How is this DIFFERENT and / or BETTER? THAT is the real question that needs answering.

Thirdly - Many Olympics athletes use many things. Does not mean (lets say for argument's sake it IS of benefit to them) that we should use or do it too. Many scientific studies have shown mothers to say that just because Kobus down the street is doing it, you should too.

Olympic athletes train many many hours a day. I don't think that means I should consume what they consume and at the same rate? Please reply fast, I have 33 eggs on the stove...

"...anecdotal for sure..."

you should be even more sceptical of Multi Level Marketing companies, aka pyramid schemes... (this is one of them)

BTW - if the science says it doesn't work, IT DOESN'T WORK.

My mate says he's never felt better since taking it. But then he's also upped his exercise, become more active in his church community, just received a raise at work thanks to a promotion, started cooking and making much of his food himself rather than buying food as ready meals, cut beer out extensively and started watching his food intake.

Yeah, it's the pill that's "changed his life"

None of those are things that traditionally makes a person feel better about life. It must be the manatech

mannatech is a load of rubbish...knew a few people selling it and living the mannatech dream, he was quite serious into the products....he even believed he had a friend who survived cancer due to mannatech, unfortunately my friend who used his mannatech religiously died of cancer himself....mannatech do not do valid testing. the only way you make money in mannatech is by getting people to buy in...its not about the product...its about the getting people to join.stay away....eat real food.

Pretty much.

Oh, and Wiki is a pretty valid source, or at least a great source to find the articles that the information references in order to back up the information contained there. There are loads of extremely knowledgeable people who are volunteering their time and effort, as well as expertise and experience in their relative fields, to cultivate the information held there. You want to know something? Google / Wiki it and follow the links provided in the Wiki article. They most always go to respected scientific journals, citing the latest science.
