Quick, a diversion....I see that the 2012 UCI rules prohibit Camelbacks with a volume greater than 0.5 litre for road and cyclocross events. Is there an equivalent rule for MTB events?

PS let's ignore Rule #32 for a second..... :whistling:

I think the reason for that is the pros started using "Camelbacks" in time trials, but they were really intended as fairings to create a smooth line from the helmet to the body, and they were normally empty from the start.

When you at a race and gets told that if you race with that shirt you will get a DQ then you can expect a reaction or two ? Happened to me three years ago at the 94.7 (should be on here somewhere) when I got stopped before entering the gates .

I'm not so sure it was only the sleeveless shirt .....

and the rules there to prevent you from looking like a total d**chebag in a tank top

cause any man on a bike in a tank top looks like a total d**chebag

and you bring cyclists into disrepute by looking like a total d**chebag on a bike in public so keep your tank top for your IDT
