Mech hanger for previous gen Spul ( 650b) it will probably fit the older models as well as the BFe.

Free to Whoever want it and come pick up(Centurion area, during weekdays) , if you have a front shifter you can trade me that as well please.

Otherwise a firm handshake or A 6-pack is also appreciated  :P

Hey guys, wondering if someone can help me out here. I bought a simple 29er frame and from what I can gather it takes a 135mm qr rear axle. I have some wheels that are 12x142mm thru axle. Is there some way of getting the simple frame to accept these wheels?

What hubs are they? If possible, change the end caps...

They are Funn Fantom Hubs. From what I can see it looks like replacement end caps are pretty specific to brand, or is there a brand (maybe kcnc) that does a universal one? Can't seem to find too much on the interwebs.

Grease Monkey, contact origin cycles.. used to be performance bikes.

They do all the Funn stuff;

If it's doable they are your best bet.

Thanks Jewbacca!

Origin Cyclery would be me :) (I'm not the mechanical brains of the operation).

I am actually building a demo bike to show off all the Funn components we import. It is possible to do the conversion, will just be a while before I can get the parts as we did an import very recently, and only plan on putting in another order in a month or so. Will just have to be patient on this one.

Will post some pics when the build is done!

So... our demo bike is being built up with the following specs, will post some pics once done:

Frame: Cotic Simple 29er (Orange)

Fork: MRP Stage 120mm

Wheels: Funn Fantom 29er in Blue (23mm internal diameter)

Tyres: Onza Canis 2.35 front and rear

Handlebar: Funn Fatboy 35 in Orange (Cut down to 750mm)

Stem: Funn Stryge 35 in Blue (75mm)

Grips: Funn Hilt

Seatpost: Funn Block Pass 31.6mm (To be replaced by a Funn Up Down dropper when shipment arrives)

Saddle: Funn Adlib with Blue accents

Seatpost Collar: Funn Rydon 31.6mm in Blue

Brakes: Shimano XT (180mm front, 160mm rear)

Crankset: Shimano XT (To be replaced by Funn Ridge once shipment arrives)

Chainring: cSixx 32t Oval (To be replaced by Funn Solo 34t in Blue once shipment arrived)

Pedals: Funn Funndamental Flats in Orange OR Mamba double side spd in Orange (depending on the day and who is riding it!)

Chainguide: Funn Zippa Simple (To be installed when shipment arrives)

Chain: KNC DLC 11spd in Orange and Black

Shifter: Box One Push Push Shifter

Rear Mech: Box One

Cassette: Box Two 11-46t

The idea behind the bike was to showcase Funn components and other parts that can be bought from our online store (either already available or available within the next month), with the exception of Shimano parts. As you can see - we are still waiting on many parts from Funn to get the build to it's final state!

Should be done with the build before the end of the week, so will post some pics - going to be one awesome looking steed!

Did you weld on a deraileur hangar?

I thought the Simple frame came Hangarless with horizontal drop outs?

Sounds like a rad bike.

Sliding dropout chain tug with a built in hanger probably being used. That, or it's actually a Solaris.

Hey guys, yes it does have Horizontal dropouts - we are using a chain tug with integrated hanger. Got a really good deal on a simple 2nd hand frame - so had to make that work!
