My brother must be working for the coolest boss ever!

He went cycling with a few guys last week, and the boss some how decided my brother needs a new bike.

So he ordered this:

http://www.specialized.com/us/en/bikes/road/tarmac/tarmac-expert#specs

They received the bike yesterday, and my brother assembled the bike and chose not to venture the streets of Croatia (Cavtat).

Replaced the crankset with a FSA Carbon and RD and FD replaced with Dura Ace as well as the chain.  And they are waiting for the go ahead for a set of carbon wheels...

awesome stuff.

So would that be like a company bicycle?

Yep.  It is his bike, but to send it back to SA and then back to Hamburg next year is not worth it.  And he has another bike in SA to cycle with, but doubt that they are going to be in SA for a long term.

If he made all those changes, he sounds rather ungrateful to me... Can't change the font on my phone....

And then he goes and lays it on the floor for a pic when surely he could have taken a pic in what looks like a pefectly good workstand.

Ungrateful indeed.! LOL

Did your brother have to perform any "favours" to get this bike?

Yeah it all comes at a price.  Has to cycle with the boss.  Have to see that the bikes of the boss are in perfect condition.  Has to be paid in Euro.  Have to work in a 5 star place.

And some times have to see that the bike gets to the boss in one piece.

Thought so as well.  But there was a 3000 Pound bike in the stand being upgraded and repaired.

Scott Land was not to kind to them and some of France took a bit out of the bikes.
