In solidarity of all those fortunate enough to take part, I will go and look for a local cycle race to take part in.

Dad, my bike computer is dead......my front takes long to shift to the big ring.......my back goes clickety when I shift to the smallest cog..........can you look at my mtb as well, the front brake is squishy...........my one also please, it screeches like an Avid trying to find a mate......might as well check the old girl too...........just in case I decide to ride her next Sunday.......... Before you know it my backyard looks like this! Cost? Three hours, three glasses of Sauvignon Blanc and a little battery! Cool ha ?!

We have 2 roadies, 5 MTBs, 1 girls bike, and a roadie frame in the garage that my wife wants me to build up for her. And I have to keep all going on their 2 wheels.
eddy Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Here's one thing that I always wondered about. Why do they complicated things even further with a start card? You already have your number on you and a timing chip on your bike or yourself - they then add another thing that can get lost or cause problems? Personally I would just go with a timing chip and race number. It is a low tech way of determining who started and who didn't pitch as a control over the start mats.
