Not allowed to form one bunch I agree. Happened many times in racing vets VA vs VB...haha. man I would love to see this happen. Just think of the price money man. Give it a go, my money is on you!

Frosty Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 Ask any Vet 30-39 how quickly a 4 minute gap can be closed against the Elites. It's happened as recently as last weekend (21st). All depends on how the Elites approach the first hour of racing.

Give it a go, my money is on you!We (VA) caught the elites at carnival city last weekend and where allowed to pass them. They then had attacks and where allowed to pass us. We basically just had them a few min up the road the rest of the day while picking up the dropped guys. The comms had their hands full trying to get the dropped elites out our group. Edit. I see Gerald already mentioned it.

Afaik it is whoever crosses the line first who takes the win no matter where you start. If you cross the line second but your time is 4min faster because you started in 1A you still only get second, cause you crossed it second.

Price money should go to $.Chances for for it to happen is also really small...but possible for sure. if you win from -1A prepare yourself for some blood test afterwards and make sure your bike weights less than 6.8kg...hahaha
the_roadie Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 Anyone have a 2014 Garmin route file they'd be willing to share? I tried creating one from Strava but the distance comes to 119km so it looks like the route is not calculated correctly.
