This after I ate some cottage pie the missus made that contained some bone in the mince. I managed to badly hurt a left molar, and snap a right molar clean in half, as the second mouthful of pie also had bone in...I didn't finish the meal...My medical aid has refused the crown quote by the dentist, and now I still have to fix the snapped tooth out of my own pocket. R4200.00 later. Lekker man, lekker.

In the US, a RC sets us back around $1100 out of pocket. Got a quote to have wisdom teeth removed, and it's cheaper to fly back to SA, have it done there and come back.
