Ouch! those crash pics look real nasty. People need to pay very close attention to what they are doing when going downhill. I find myself feathering the brakes all the time because all the lightweights around me seem to max out at 60km/h while I can easily reach 70+ with my weight. You need to stay in control.

My worst day ever.

1. I set up the map in my car gps last Saturday night bec i didnt wanna be late and it didnt work in the race morning.. I found the address and set it up on my cell phone then suddenly car gps started talking to me direction..

2. Unfortunate accident.. RIP..

3. I didnt bring my sunblock..( thank you, CTG guys)

4. After Registered and waiting for toilet, I realized that my gloves were in the car... I had to run to my car..

5. Missed my team bec i was late. So i had to catch them. Fortunately only 3min gap

6. I caught them. But i fell... lost them again.

7. 40mim TT to catch my group again..and I caught them again

8. I put Hammer stuff in my bottle before giving my bottle to one of water bottle guy but the guy put too much water.. So the stuff's gone hahahaha

9. Big Toes pain (too much pain, any idea?) and cramping both legs

10. Damn not enough nutritions..supposed to have more than enough foods But at the water point my Hammer stuff's almost gone.

11. I wish i had one more energy bar in my pocket. i tried to check and my thumb was cut by phone case.. Never happened it before..

12. Kept cramping and toes pain.

Wow... What a day.

Like he mentions on his twitter feed, giving guys an A seeding based on one hill climb TT, probably not the most clever thing to do.

What happened to the old method of using your best 3 races?

Phone and ask...

50km/h to tar. Bike is written off cause some hacker who shouldn't be in group hooked a left. Last PPA race done http://t.co/SW4Ah44wLY

That crash in A was pretty hectic, i was luckily on the far left of John, and managed ride off the side of the road. Still lost the bunch because of that, had to ride most the race as a 3man TT.

Agreed, i was couple of seconds slower than the winner and i didn't expect i would be in A with the hill being relatively short.

but riders who were 3minutes slower than the winner were all put in A.

In theory its a good idea, especially if you stop racing for a while but still train and lose a couple of seeding places. Its hard to get back to A because you basically have to better A's time to get there.

Did my first One Tonner and I enjoyed it.(been cycling for +- 1 year)

I am one of the guys that took part in the Hill Climb and jumped from G to A

THANK U PPA . If it wasn't for that I would have still been stuck in G

Did the West Coast Ex in A, was dropped up a little drag but finished with all the other dropped A riders.

Do I belong in A?

Depends who you ask...leave that for another day.

Did the One Tonner in B (was just behind that gentlemen that dropped his chain) and felt very good, did a fair share of pulling as well not just sucking wheel like 70% of the group, even when trying to chase down the break away That mysteriously disappeared  . Must say they packed some serious power up Botmas to get away , 6W/Kg at least    All in all was a great race , will definitely be back for more next time....who knows maybe in A with my HC seeding

well done - to improve your bike handling skills join a club and race the WP league after the argus in 2016 - no massive hills just fast balls to the wall racing. i hear good things are being planned for next year.

What confuses me is that the 3.5 and 2.7km hill climb tt had a beta of 1.5, yet a 170km ride with 2 climbs, rolling hills, head winds later in the day, rising temperatures etc gets a beta of 1.28

What confuse me more is, I finished 23 minutes behind my starting group and still managed to move up a seeding group after the one tonner???   That just means seeding system flawed and i'm not suppose to be in my actual group .. but i'm taking it :w00t:

Just out of curiosity, do any of you pay to have yourself reseeded, as in get a new number, before the current one expires?

50 Randelas I think to collect a new number (that was last year)
