My picks for today...

Coquard

Bling

or Sagan

Puzzling how Matthews has been so quiet up to now. Some of these finishes looked to have been tailormade for him.

Maybe carrying a niggle or chest cold or something. But I was expecting to see a lot more of him.

I doubt Hinault is loosing much sleep.... No disrespect to Cav but his wins are not on the same scale as BH's.

Different time and era, wheel suckers delight now days

This is an interesting perspective (not saying it is 'correct' and yours 'wrong' just different):

All time

Merckx: 34
Cavendish: 28
Hinault: 28
************
Without time trials
Cavendish: 28
Merckx: 17
Hinault: 7

Of course, many might argue that a TT win is actually more impressive than a bunch sprint win anyway.

Watching BSP it just seems like the crashes caught them out on 1 and 2 and got in a bad position yesterday.  I for one hope that things for OBE turns around quickly, just an awesome team

Apparently the finish is a 500m uphill sprint at 5% gradient.

and a bump before the finish that if the peloton pushes could drop a few pure sprinters

I have such mixed feelings every time Cav wins a stage...

On one hand I think he is an absolute chop and I cant stand him, on the other hand though he is riding for team DD and I will support them regardless(even if its not really a SA team anymore)
