Annika all the way!

Interesting how Jolanda and Annika seem to "miss" each other at their tapering races. Jolanda did London, Annika this weekend.

What ever happens, going to be one hell of a race.

UCI XCO World Cup and World champs have not really been a priority for Yo!anda, this season and besides the sickie at the Czek Republic and the whimsical World Champs, she has performed remarkably well. One thing about her is her ability to come back after a setback .Look at how she recovered at Le Bresse after she sensationally went over the bars down that slippery technical section.

If it sounds like I am fan man so be it .. I think she is the hottest on the circuit in all senses of the word :)

Emily "drive me" Batty is def. also worth a mention, she has been upping her game, and she is one tough kookie.

So will it be  Battle of the Blonds?

I probably would have watched the

mountain bike event anyway but with Peter Sagan in contention, it’s what excites me the most. This rider is simply exceptional. But I guess we all love what he does. - Marc Madiot on what he is looking forward too in Rio. I am sure you have a countdown going to Christmas in Rio aka the men's XCO race!

If you follow Sauzer on Instagram, you can see a video of Sagan being out sprinted by Sam Gaze.

How long did they sprint for [emoji33] cause the video ends and they are still sprinting[emoji23] [emoji23]

From the posts before it looks like they were all on an interval training session that day.. eina

Gaze is apparently an exceptional rider and someone whose name we all need to get used to seeing up there with the best. He was also very complimentary about SA during the Epic. He seems to have a very mature head on those young shoulders.

I guess for the pro riders that are riding the XC in Rio it is living their dream and making their shot count when they take it.  I would love to see  a Saffer in the top 10! that would be cool.
