Ok fair enough, utes do hold value a bit better. Post was more focused on the finance deals people take to get something brand new :)

 

I was also looking at getting a new car when I land in Feb. But after looking through classifieds, think I'll aim to get something around 5 years old now. 

 

Some utes seem to hold their value too well.

 

I came across this gem while browsing for a decent bakkie.

 

It seems drug users are alive and well in NZ. That can be the only explanation for this price.

haha, yup! My uncle in Aus said that Holden Commodore Utes (Chev Lumina Utes) are "yobbo cars".

 

Urban dictionary agrees.

yeah, yobbo/bogans typically live for their holdens or fords (when both were built in Aus).

But a true real beauty of a place with awesome colours in the pools around the geysers... Like a Paint Pallette...
