Ja but another 329 for the health section ( aids test, glucose etc)

...which I've already posted about on the previous page...?

One, the Vitality Health Check (This consist of the normal vitals check as well as a HIV+ test. Price split roughly half each) and second the Vitality Fitness Assessments. These are two different tests.

First one done by a nurse, and the second by a biokineticist. Each with an individual price tag. This is the way is has always been.

If Disco HO offers the option to do both in one go (wellness day style), it still does not detract from the fact that these are two different events (Individually priced as well) on the Vitality points log.

Failed by cholestrol test, 5,6 instead of 5,0 or less. Rather bleak, although on talking to those in the office this morning, it sounds like having a three egg omlette for lunch before hand was less than ideal. :(

take it with a pinch of salt. I'm exactly the same, and have a below 5 when I did the test through my doctor (blood test).

Thanks, did not sleep well last night thinking about it. (I also may have mentioned to my wife last night that I need to ride more to help this out, which could explain the bruising on my back this morning...0

agree, these screening tests are never 100%. I was in the same boat last year but results with a proper blood test was fine.

But, this is more about getting the points to get to gold.

Mine was 6.2   :( and I train 7 days a week (sometimes twice a day) and eat healthily with almost no alcohol. Been to the doc to get blood tests done to see how much of that is the good cholesterol and whether need any medication... waiting for the results sometime this week.

So also missed out on the full quota of points as everything else is better than normal!!

Hope its nothing major and maybe a funky prick test.

Bio does the fitness side.

The health assessment was done by the nurse at the pharmacy. Price for that was R493(Full cholesterol counts, BP, Sugar, BMI stuff) + HIV test, but my medical aid (managed by Discovery) pays for that

You have to pay for your Health Assessment?.. it's free with Multiply (at dischem or ckicks) all you have to pay for is the additional finger prick HIV test which is R80 and counts towards medical check ups doesn't fall under health assessment.

Fitness assessment is however at your own expense.

But I am getting very gatvol of Multiply... I have had clients screaming at me for 2 days because of the new changes.

Seems all these rewards programs come with their own set of headaches.

I also had to pay for it as I am on CAMAF.

Health check is free with Discovery, I paid nothing at the pharmacy, they submitted straight to Discovery.  Fitness check have to pay for and claim back.

When someone has to be paid it is never free. Someone pays.

With Discovery medical aid picks up the bill no matter what plan you are on.

We don't... most of our clients don't have medical through momentum and the basic health assessment at clicks or dischem is free of charge.. someone must be paying but it isn't coming out of our client's pocket for now.. however with these new changes a while lot won't be getting maximum discounts... so suppose they will be paying for it. And the carry over points are no more.. and is working different than before hence clients screaming at me. Edited by Gen
