Really sad that such young men with a bright future deem it necessary to drink so much to bring shame to themselves. Life is much more than getting sloshed out of your mind. Hope that this incident will help them to take a fresh look at their life's and that they will make positive changes

Benoni - party capital of the world baby. Ibiza se moer.

Good on the riders for helping out. Can only be good for relations with drivers that are typically our mortal enemy/killers.

Being human. We should all try that sometime....

While I would normally agree with that 100% I can only assume that when that guy gets fired that he will be pretty pissed off with the cyclists.

Private property has all the grounds they need to fire him, especially since it has hit social media and paints them in a bad light.

The cyclists did the right thing, I would have done exactly that.

Still through all of this it was self inflicted so if he gets upset then it should be with himself!

was there a pun? because in the meyersdal area the Rawson Properties estate agents are a danger to cyclists too, heck for anyone driving or riding

Pity those two muppets cant be made to work some shifts with paramedics at accident scenes over the 'festive' season or something. Not that I think it would deter them too much from becoming fulltime drunks in the future but anyway....

This should be compulsory in cases like this. But not just once off or on a day that suits them....month end Saturday night, the whole night and again, not just once, maybe for three months.  That might create an impression?

What we don't expect to see at 4:30am in the morning when we go out for a ride. Driver & passenger passed out with vehicle stationery in left hand lane. Taking their keys & moving the vehicle & these 2 off the road was the least we could do for theirs & others safety.

UPDATE: Private Property are aware of the incident and investigating. We did phone the police however 1 hour in they had still not arrived. This incident occurred in the Benoni area.

Eisch, bad news.....

I just wonder what goes through those two oke's minds when they wake up. When the realisation of what they have just done hits home.
