If its anything like previous years and at SA's they strict with their ancient measuring device.

Gerald do you know how strictly they apply the TT bike rules? I have an oldish bike I would like to use but not sure it is still 'legal' .....

I'll ask, hopefully I get a reply before tomorrow's deadline as there are no late entries allowed for the TT.

Yeah it should. I think its mainly your set up. So saddle position and bar position. I stand to be corrected because Iv never been in the situation but I heard last year the one guys bars where too long and he had to move them slightly back to get them within limits. Look i'm sure any discrepancies can be sorted out there and then, I highly doubt a well known brand like that would have something that doesn't comply.

They will be doing bike checks as it is a lead up to Nationals.

Last year they were weighing bikes until their scale broke... Go figure! #Muppets

Not all the Cannondale Slice TT bikes are legal. The latest model is only triathlon legal and not UCI TT legal.

Don't stress guys, Gauteng cycling couldn't organise a p!ssup in a brewery, I highly doubt they will know how to use a measuring tape
