Hoogekraal for its maiden ride!

Seriously fun to ride: It climbs  so much better than the Genius.

Much more responsive /nimble on the single track and Strava times seemed to be improved.

But - my legs were like jelly by the end of those long Hoogekraal / Trail Z descents, going to need to toughen up a fair bit

Would like to like that bike a few more times than the 1 x option we get!

Sooooo...when are you getting her a dropper post?

Hahaha. One day when I can afford it- It's all she needs to be perfect!

But the fleet is high maintenance

never understood the argument of a fleet being high maintenance.

The way I figure it, the more bikes you have, the less mileage per bike per month and therefore less maintenance.

If you do say 2k km per month on 5 bikes, the cost per km must surely be the same per km if you had one bike...when taking the long term view?
